Infinite Blackjack: shared hands and individual decisions
Infinite Blackjack is Evolution’s live-dealer format with no fixed limit on the number of players joining a round. “Infinite” describes table capacity, not a way to remove the house edge or increase your spending limit. The key distinction is that players receive the same opening two-card hand but can make their own subsequent decisions. This guide explains what is shared, what remains personal and which extra wagers change your total commitment.
Shared cards do not mean shared decisions
Evolution’s Infinite Blackjack overview says the main game deals a common initial two-card hand to all participants. After that, each player can choose how to play it. One person may stand while another hits, so their final hands and settlements can diverge. Do not use another player’s balance or animation as a substitute for your own accepted actions and account history.
| Element | Common or individual? | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Opening two cards | Common to main-game players | Whether your main wager was accepted before betting closed. |
| Hit, stand or other permitted action | Your own decision | The on-screen timer and accepted-action record. |
| Optional side wagers | Your own separate stakes | Each wager’s qualifying cards and paytable. |
| Final return | Calculated for your bets and actions | Total credited against total committed. |
Six Card Charlie belongs to this named variant
Evolution identifies a Six Card Charlie rule in Infinite Blackjack. Its live-blackjack rules overview says a hand of six cards totalling 21 or less wins automatically under that feature, even if the dealer has blackjack; split hands are evaluated separately. That special rule is not a licence to assume every product with “Infinite” or “Blackjack” in its name behaves the same way. Read the exact live table help screen for exceptions, dealer rules and how a split is settled.
The dealer’s soft-17 rule, blackjack payout, splitting limits, doubling conditions and treatment of a connection loss all matter. A headline theoretical return from a different table is not a substitute for those rules. We have not verified an operator-served version in a real-money account.
Four optional bets are four different propositions
Evolution lists Any Pair, 21+3, Hot 3 and Bust It as optional side bets for this product. They are not compulsory components of the main hand. Some look only at early cards, while Bust It concerns a dealer bust; each has its own qualifying pattern and payout table. A side-bet win does not prove the main blackjack hand won, and the reverse is also possible. Read each help entry separately before placing a chip.
For a simple cost illustration, a £2 main bet plus two 50p side bets means £3 committed before any later double or split. If doubling requires another £2, the commitment becomes £5. This is arithmetic, not a claim about the table minimum, a recommended stake or a promised return. The displayed total-bet field is the figure to compare with a limit you set in advance.
What to do when a round looks wrong
First identify the exact table title, round identifier, opening cards and each accepted action. Compare the wager history with the table’s own rules rather than a neighbouring player’s replay. If the stream freezes during the decision period, do not assume the wager was void or immediately place another one; use account history and the operator’s interruption process to resolve it.
A casino’s bonus may exclude live blackjack or count it differently from slots. Confirm eligibility for this exact table before relying on restricted bonus funds. Supplier documentation alone does not establish current availability at a particular UK operator or a current promotion.
